Pelican Products Presents its New 30” Sized Rackmount Cases at IDEX 2023
Pelican Products, the global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance protective cases, temperature-controlled packaging solutions and advanced portable lighting systems, will present at IDEX (Booth 01-C17) its new 30” rack frame cases in 3U, 5U, 7U and 9U sizes.
Pelican™ shock mounted rack cases are extremely rugged and offer superior shipping protection against repeated drops, blows and moisture ingress while protecting the IT equipment inside. Besides a range of standard sized rack cases, Pelican also offers bespoke solutions. Considering fragility rating, height, weight, and depth, Pelican’s engineering team will develop the ideal Rack Case configuration to meet your exact requirements.
At IDEX, Pelican will present its new selection of rack cases equipped with a frame depth of 30 inches. This new 30-inch depth will be available for 3U, 5U, 7U and 9U case sizes of the following popular Pelican rack case models: the configurable SuperMAC™ rack case (11 to 90 kg. payloads), the Made to Stock Super-V square hole rack case (36 to 77 kg. payloads) and BlackBox rack case (9 to 45 kg. payloads).
The new 30” deep rack cases are ideal for a wide range of solid-state servers between 27” to 29“ depth.
RACK STACk
The SuperMAC is a configurable case that is built to suit your specific server needs. It includes access to the same configurable rack case options that are currently enjoyed by the 24” SuperMAC rack.
Key to the new offering is the new Super-V 30, Pelican’s partner to the Super-V 24”. The Super-V case models offer a square hole rack frame and include both SAE and M6 cage nuts, giving these cases universal application in any market.
The extremely popular 24” BlackBox model now has a 30” steel tapped frame for the same 4 U-Sizes that and is ideal for lower payload weights of up to 45 kg.
All of Pelican’s new rack cases pass MIL-810 testing, including standard 26 drops per case per payload weight range, stacking weight, vibration testing as well as a complete range of standard MIL-810, which is a hallmark of Pelican cases.
