ANKA UAV AND HÜRJET JET AIRCRAFT WILL MARK TO MALAYSIA

Turkish Aerospace will participate in 17th Defense Service Asia (DSA) Exhibition and Conference to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on March 28-31, 2022. Beside the full-size model of ANKA Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) platform, company will exhibit HÜRJET Jet Training Aircraft and other indigenous platforms models at its booth in Türkiye Pavilion. Aerostructures capabilities of Turkish Aerospace will also be represented during the exhibition.

Turkish Aerospace which opened a new office in Malaysia last year, is increasing its efforts for new joint projects with Malaysia in the field of defense industry and aviation. Participating in DSA Exhibition with high level representatives, Turkish Aerospace will meet with delegations beside Malaysian defense industry authorities, but also from various countries, to discuss new cooperation and business models for their projects in the field of aerospace industry. With the delegations that will participate in the exhibition, company aims to carry out potential joint studies in many areas such as Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, Jet Trainer, Original Helicopter development, structural capabilities and modernization programs that will contribute to the development of the aviation ecosystem.

Adding his views on the DSA Exhibition, Turkish Aerospace President and CEO Prof. Temel Kotil said, “Malaysia is increasing the importance in the field of technology among Asian countries. In our technology center located in Malaysia, further to our R&D activities, we would intend to carry out important studies to increase the capacity in the aviation and space industry of the two countries with our Malaysian engineer colleagues. In a short time, we have signed important collaborations. We will continue these initiatives in the coming period. We are competing with our HÜRJET platform in Malaysia's Jet Trainer tender process, which is closely followed by the world. Regardless of the outcome of this tender process, we aim to continue to contribute to the development of the capacities of aviation technologies between the two countries.”
